Education matters

For me to stay updated, because knowledge evolves.

For you to make informed choices.

My Formal Education

My clinical foundation began at the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague, where I completed my BSc and later MSc in Physiotherapy.

I've continued building on that foundation at GIH — the Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences — through independent courses in Multidisciplinary Perspectives in Dance Science: Health, Injury and Talent and Nutrition for Dance Educators, and from autumn 2026 I'll be continuing with Physical Activity and Healthy Brain Function and Sport Nutrition: From Theory to Practice.

I trained as a circus artist at Stockholm University of the Arts (SKH), completing full Artistic Development within Circus Disciplines module and the Handstand Course.

I also hold the PAMA certificate in Essentials of Performing Arts Medicine, reflecting my focus on the specific physical demands performers face.

Together, these institutions shape how I work: grounded in clinical science, dance and sport physiology, and the lived, technical reality of circus training.

Where I Teach

I currently teach at Cirkus Cirkör, working with circus students on technique and physical preparation, and teach public courses and workshops at Cirqueon, Prague's circus arts platform, focused on injury prevention and performer health.

At Stockholm University of the Arts (SKH), I work as assistant lecturer in circus, focusing on physical preparation and performer health within the circus discipline programme.

I previously taught at HAMU, the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (AMU), where I served as Head of Kinesiology for the Dance Pedagogy master's programme, teaching health theory alongside practical movement applications for both bachelor's and master's students.

Across all of these, my role is the same: bringing clinical, evidence-based physical preparation into environments built around artistic training.
